Ethiopia signed with China an agreement expected to play an important role in strengthening the security and normal functioning of Chinese investments in Ethiopia, establishing security safeguarding mechanism for major projects under BRI in the African country, which includes the Addis Ababa-Djibouti Standard Gauge Railway.
