India will continue to work on connectivity projects that would support Afghanistan economically, backing a US-proposed and UN-convened process to secure political settlement for the war torn nation. India’s backing for a regional process on Afghanistan came in the backdrop of New Delhi being kept out of other processes such as a recent meeting convened by Russia to bring peace to Afghanistan.
